Help, it wont turn on and the speaker is making a poping noise..

So i have been working today. I have had the treo in my pocket, screen towards my leg. It was just yard work, no real heavy lifting or anything, i am sure nothing smacked it. A few hours later i took my phone out to check the time and a little orange light it flashing at the top. I have the app that gets rid of the little LED lights so i dont know what a flashing orange light means. i press some buttons, but nothing responds. I pull the battery and nothing happens. When i plug it into a charger i notice there is a very very quiet poping noise coming from the back speaker. what is this? how do i fix things? no buttons respond, reset doesnt work.
oh! and the popping gets louder when i press down the reset button!

So if you press the reset button, nothing happens at all? Same with the soft reset? The blinking light usually means you are out of service area, but in your case I'm not quite sure. If you have a good backup, you might try a hard reset.
