Palm TX as a supplement to the Treo 650?

I have enjoyed owning my Treo 650 for Cingular for the past year. I am waiting on buying the new Treo 750 because it doesn't have WiFi nor enough of the other goodies (i.e. better megapixel camera).

What do you think about the Palm TX as a supplement phone? A few questions:

1) If I buy the Palm TX from the Palm website, although it doesn't specify, will it work with Cingular wireless? Is it considered "unlocked"? Will text messages and internet, etc. all work when I put the SIM card in?

2) What do you think about the Palm TX keyboard? It looks tough to get used to.

the tx is not a phone. it is a pda only. just like a treo, minus the keyboard and phone. i used a lifedrive as well as my treo for about a year and i loved it. games and movies on the ld, phone, contacts and calendar on the treo.

Thanks.. So if I have a Cingular data plan, and then purchase the Palm TX, how do I get it to work on the Palm? Is it as easy as inserting the SIM card in the Palm?

The wireless won't work unless the SIM card is in right?

How easy do you find the Palm TX browser to be (espec with no friendly keypad like the Treo)?

Is it easy to sync the two calendars, etc?

Is there a way to use both the Treo and TX at the same time so both are "online"?

the entire point of having a treo is to get rid of another pda and phone. you don't insert the sim into the tx; it is internet-capable only through a wireless access point or through a bluetooth-connected phone. i used the browser on my lifedrive and though there was not keyboard i had no trouble navigating using the graffiti area. you can sync the calendars using the palm desktop on a pc or mac.
