Charge with usb cable only? - Treo Forum

I might be getting a 650 from a guy, but he doesnt have the wall charger, everything esle though, is there any way to charge it via the usb cable, without having to buy the wall charger right away? I want to get a cradle for it, but its the weekend and it wouldnt get here soon enough, also, I really dont want to have to give verizon 30 bucks for a new one. Help a newb? Thanks in advance!

the stock usb cable does not charge the treo. there's a little jack for the wall charger to plug into on the usb cable. however, you might check an electronic store (radioshack, best buy, office depot, staples, etc). they might have a charger for cheap. there are usb cables that charge on ebay but i wouldn't trust anything that doesn't have the palmone logo on it. these things don't exactly grow on trees, ya know.
