How do you Delete contact lists in messaging quick list? - Treo Forum

In the messaging tool that comes with the Treo 650, it stores a list of contacts that you have messaged (called the quick pick list). How do you clear that list? I have deleted SMS Quicklist from my back up and then did a hot sync, but the list is still there..

Your help would be much appreciated.

Grab a program like filez (free) then delete the database from the Treos internal memory - a little messy I know.

Hopefully in the next OS Palm will find it easier to add management features for these sorts of things or maybe combine this list with the call log.

You might also want to switch on the privacy mode so that incoming SMS don't just display on your screen for all to see when they come in.

welcome to treonauts texasbio I am not sure as I havent had a palm os device in a while but I dont think so.

texasbio You can go to the mobile site on freewarepalm.com from your Treo. Find the file and then download it to your device that way.

You need a Resource Editor, I use Bird.
Look for SMS Quick List, and voila...
remove what you want to remove...
