Hi,

I am wanting to purchase a memory card for my new Treo 650. I would like have the ability to watch one of my favorite movies. Has anyone experienced a problem with using a 4 to 8gb memory card in their phone? If so what brand do you recommend?

you have to have a custom rom to use a 4 or 8 gb sd. i found this on mtdn. not recommended to noobs!

And I will like to add not all SD or SDHC will work mean you need a good and solid brand name. I bought 2 on eBay and both don't work, 1 was a fake SunDisk who normally will work. Just for info. You need to check the speed of the card because too slow can create some problem.

BTW did you search

before to post this topic because I saw the same question before.

The custom Rom is not hard to do but you need to do some home work mean you need to read some topic regarding Custom Rom (not Partition Rom I wouldn't suggest). If you need help you can message me and I can try to lead you in the process. I use 4 and 8 Gb SDHC without any problem.
