| I made my first post!  |  Treo 650 resetting every 20 seconds! Help!! hi, any help would be greatly appreciated. I went to sync my phone last night and my phone starting resetting over and over again, while doing the sync. I don't know what to do!! I went to verizon and called Palm, but they said I would have to do a hard reset. Which I have vital information that I hadn't backed up yet, so I can't lose the information. Any idea's? How can I stop my phone from resetting over. The cycle continues even if I take the battery out or do a soft reset. Help!! Need to extract info from the phone. Will take all measures necessary and I don't mind losing the phone. Thanks! |

 | sorry, the only way i know of is to hard reset the phone.

| Don't know if this will help, but here is a fix for a reset loop caused by VolumeCare. I had a similar issue when I first got my 650 (caused by AvantGo, I think) and a similar procedure worked for me. Good luck. Go Treo Software, Inc. - Support |

| Regular Contributer  | You could try a warm reset if it's in a reset loop. A warm reset tells your device to stop what it's doing and start over again, bypassing any system extensions. This can help you with "boot loop" errors, allowing you to remove any recently installed third-party applications that might be causing the problem.
