Question about New Unlocked 650

I've recently purchased a new unlocked 650, and I have no clue how to set it up for Cingular. Can anyone help me out?

There is a tray on the top of the phone (right by the ringer switch) and pull this out and put your SIM card in. You should here a funny chime and the Cingular logo should pop up. If it doesnt hold down the power button to connect to the network. Other than that (like Brandon) I dont know what you mean. If you can give us some specifics maybe we can help.

Sorry about my lack in detail, Brandon and TreoRookie. By setting up for Cingular, I mean setting up the proper web-browser, multimedia message capabilities, etc. My phone hasn't arrived yet, but I want to get as much info on it as possible before it gets here. If you both could help, I would greatly appreciate it.

No problem.....the settings for the web browser are going to set themselves. As far as the multimedia...your sms and mms are going to set automatically. BUT, your Treo is going to come with this Cingular EXpress mail everytime you hit the message quick key. I recommend getting a third party email handler for your email. E.I Snappermail, Chattermail, even Versamail (this comes pre-installed). Make sure you go to settings, buttons, and change the button to "messaging". If this is confusing let me know and ill walk you through it. Other than that everything should set itself up.

Let me know if this helps
