Voicemail Indicator on Dial Screen - Treo Forum

HELP - Voicemail Indicator on Dial screen indicates 1 voicemail eventhough I've checked and deleted all voicemails. Is there a way to reset to "0"?

I get that sometimes with my Sprint account... I've cleared using various methods:

1. Switch Phone part off then on again.
2. Call voicemail and have it tell me there's no voicemail
3. Have someone leave voicemail then wait a bit to retrieve it, then delete it.

are you referring to the top of the screen or down at the bottom where the quick dial buttons are?

OK on my 700p I found a button in the Phone App Phone Prefs to "Clear the Voicemail Indicator"... unless, as Brandonwankenobi asked, you mean the one from the 1 Phone key or Speedial kys...

I am still having this issue. i do not see any clear voicemail indicator button in my phone apps. Actually i do not even see phone Preferences.

I have Treo 650 with cingular.

There is no voicemail in my phone. I have already done that with cingular. they left three voicemail messages and I deleted all of them and hit * to exit.

for a 650 on cingular, voicemail indicator is near the top of the screen by the bluetooth, signal meter, and battery. if there's no icon up there, you don't have voicemail. that little bar at the bottom is a speed dial quick key. it's hard-set to the E1 key.

Ahhh...

Thank you for your help. What a bad place to put a one? i thought it was understood that number 1 is for voice mail. it is really annoying but thank you very much otherwise I would have spent days figuring out the problem. Cingular didn't know either :-)
