Palm Universal Wireless IR Keyboard problem - Treo Forum

I have a bit of a problem lately with the IR keyboard...

I turn on the keyboard app, then after typing a bit and leaving it alone for a few seconds the keyboard becomes unresponsive. Turning off and on the treo somehow brings the signal back up again and I could now type ... but this is too inconvenient.

I've got the power saving turned off, applied IR Update. Software Treo650-1.20-APR. Firmware: 01.71

Anyone experienced this before?

I also have a lot of missed or doubled letters, and sudden sentence repetition. Sadly enough I've just gotten used to it and haven't really looked into it too deep. I find my self using the Treo's keyboard more than the IR keyboard.

Anyone else have these problems and have a good suggestion for fixing them?
