desktop find not working - Treo Forum

The desktop find on my palm has stopped working and I use it a lot. It does not freez but it basically stops loading half way through and does not produce any results. Desperate.. by the way, it works ok on my home computer, xp and at work i have 2000. Unfortunately I tried out a 680 and my problems seemed to start after I went back to the 650. I uninstalled, reinstalled, renamed backup, etc as if i was going "to" a 650.... I am hoping to upgrade to a 700p soon and hope the upgrade process will shake it loose but would love a fix right now, thanks!

Hello Matrixcode

I am currently having almost same problem with Palm Desaktop.
When I launch "Find" function OR when I click on "Media" icon, a "Welcome to Media Desktop....." window appears and stays stick over Palm desktop.

I think your problem and my problem both are related to loading of Activex.

Did you solve the problem? How?
