 | 650 locks, screen fades to white I've got a cingular 650 that occasionally locks up & the screen fades away to white. the phone won't respond to any reset, and only wakes back up if I take the battery out & reinstall it. the lockup happens most often when I'm saving a contact or charging the phone, but has happened at random, too.. I've changed batteries and tried a hard reset and a software update ... no effect. anyone else had this same problem? I'm about ready to toss this phone out the window. thanks! |

| have you tried a hard reset? have you installed any apps lately? start there and work your way up.

| What about a zero out reset? Different from a hard reset, and often mistaken for a full "factory reset".

| Yeah, I actually tried that, too (after many failed attempts to do it ... very akward procedure) - no effect. I'm convinced that it's a circuitry issue. my fault for trying to land a good deal on a refurb. I am gonna give this guy one more shot at getting me a good phone, then it's refund time. thanks for the feedback everyone! |
