  |  Treo buzz Well i read in a diffrent forum how to fix the treo buzz but wonderd what people on here have to say about the best way to fix it is,come on folks lets have some detailed answers for fixing the 600,i dont mind getting it in bits to do it ,so lets go......

| My one had a buzz. Looking through other websites the fix was to fold aluminium foil around the battery supply wires. See hereTreoFaq: The Treo 600 Buzz Fix When I was trying to figure out what the problem was I found that when the battery power got lower the buzzing got worse and went away completely when it was plugged into the USB power supply. The fix then didn't make sense. It was a power supply issue. Basically I took the back off, unplugged the power supply plugs, blew out the connections (on the wires, not on the board) with some WD40 (spray lube for electrical connections). Then I connected and disconnected the plugs at each end a few times, reassembled the phone and problem has gone away....for the moment. I think that the plug connector terminals must be very fragile and they dont make good contact after a while. Pulling them out and moving them around a bit must give them a better contact. It worked for me. Maybe it is the same issue for you. |
