![]() | New PalmOne Treo 600! Hi, I just got a new Treo 600 smartphone. I really think it is a cool device but I know people with newer models like the 650 or 680... I just wanted to ask if the 600 is still considered, well, um, "GOOD"!!! Thanks for your help! ![]() |

![]() ![]() | well, it ain't bleeding edge technology but you're on the right road! i think you'd be happy with a 650 after using a 600 for a spell. a 600 is a great launchpad into the treo world, nonetheless. congratulations! |

![]() ![]() | Welcome to the Treo world. Frankly if you're not a massive mobile net user or Palm app hoarder you'll be just fine with the 600. In time you'll want to do more and more with it - it's is a mini-computer of course and that it means you'll appreciate some of the changes and improvements Palm made to the 700+ series and the 680 most recently if and when you upgrade. ~ Steph

| A Few Questions.... ![]() | I am a long time user of the 600 because I got it through T-Mobile and of course they no longer carry treos. Anyway, I need help with a very unusual problem. The tip of my stylus is stuck in the hole. I thought I had a bright idea and stuck a small piece of a pencil eraser in the stylus hoping that the tip would stick in the eraser and allow me to pull it out. Unfortunately, I think I bent the tip and it is stuck even worse than before. Does anyone out there have any ideas? Is it possible to open it up without breaking it? |

![]() ![]() | My biggest complaint about my 600 was the battery it wouldnt hold a charge and seemed very weak for the needs of the device. If it had a decent battery I might still be using it. But probably not. I like to look at new technology all the tim so I'd still probably where I am now with the 750. |

| A Few Questions.... ![]() | If my memory serves me correctly, I think if the battery on 600 dies for more than 30 mins, it erases all the data on your phone. Contacts, Programs, etc...

![]() ![]() | Thats why you synch to outlook. I was in the hospital for 47 days and my tero 600 was not on a charger when I got out I went to the office got my cradle and put it on the cradle. It took several minutes before the red chasrging light came on I was concerned but it charged back up. The battery inhaled vigorously. |
