Battery life! - Treo Forum

I've only had mine for little more than a year but the battery seems to be giving trouble.
When a call is being made, the screen dims simontaneously with the ringtone.

That is odd...

Is it a reconditioned 600?

Anyone you know that you can trade batteries with temporarily at least to find out if it's a battery issue or hardware issue.

If you have a 600, the battery is bordering on about 4 years old at worst. In that case, being that it is a phone and most probably had been used well by the previous owner, the battery is going dead on you.

Recommend going to pdaparts.com and looking into the kit they have for Treo 600 batteries. at least that way you would be fine until the LDC would give out (that would be the next thing after the battery to go if it is the battery and not an LCD issue).
