600 crashes at point of mail download - Treo Forum

my Treo 600 after 2 years loyal service has started to crash just as it gets to download my email. everything else seems to work just fine. it logs on, makes connection ok, then receives changes, and crashes just after the first mail comes in.

any suggestions?

Try deleting and resetting your mail account. This usually fixes any issues I have.

well its not that.
but... there seems to be a weird mail in my inbox, which I cant do anything to without it crashing the phone.
cant open delete or purge it.
crashes the system anytime I do this, and just sits there.
it is listed as:

<No To> 1/1

any ideas what this is, and how to get rid of it?

Its not what? Also, if you rebuild your versamail account, make sure that the problem message isn't loaded on your email server or you'll have the same problem all over again.
