I was on the preorder site for palm. Select the buy for $99 and a pop up window will show. The middle option says AT&T and Sprint only.

I guess the GSM model is coming out soon?

Yes, it pops up in a pop up window and it gives you the option to choose between AT&T and Sprint.

Upgrade Terms & Conditions for AT&T customers:

Not all existing AT&T wireless customers will qualify for an upgrade today. In order to qualify for a special smartphone deal with an AT&T contract extension, or to qualify for a smartphone upgrade with a new AT&T plan if you're already an AT&T customer:

You must either be out of contract with AT&T (i.e., you're on a month-to-month agreement) or have less then three (3) months remaining on your existing AT&T contract.
You must have a good billing record with AT&T with no outstanding balances or late fees.
You must agree to extend your cell phone contract by 12 or 24 months (depending on the type of upgrade/extension you choose.)

Note: Eligibility requirements are solely determined by AT&T Mobility. AT&T determines whether AT&T customers qualify to extend their contracts or upgrade based on factors including, but not limited to: usage history, payment history and previous phone replacements.

Strange I've heard no rumours of a GSM Centro

The Treo 500 has popped up on the FCC's website but I'm sure that's indentical to the European 500v.

There are images circulating of what looks like a Centro with at&t software and Treo branding. We can assume, if it's real, that it's a 500p.
