![]() | Hi there fellas, I'm using Vista OS on my office-notebook so the Active Sync installation CD which came with my Treo 500v is practically useless (it's designed ONLY for use with XP!). To make all the suffering complete, my Microsoft Office 2007 only contains Word, Excel & PowerPoint, so I gotta use Mozilla Thunderbird freeware for emails & schedules. I'm desperately searching for a compatible Sync software that can link my Treo 500v with the Thunderbird on my notebook. I've tried BirdieSync but only the 21 Days Trial version because the price was ridiculous (EUR 20!). If by any chance you know where to download the software I referred please do reply (ofcourse freeware is more preferred ).Your reply would be very appreciated! Thanks |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | You should be able to install Outlook from the disc that came with the Treo. ActiveSync itself isn't compatible with Vista, Mobile Device Center is the equivalent and is available free from Microsoft. If you put the disc in the drive, right click on the cd drive in Computer and choose explore, you should be able to just install outlook. |

![]() | FinchSync Hi, I have not tried this before but you can try FinchSync at finchsync dot com (Sorry I can't post URL yet). The setting up seems to be more complicated than BirdieSync. You have to connect to the PC via TCP/IP (I have no idea how). but it is free. |
