Set up Treo 500v for Optus MMS & Internet? - Treo Forum

How do I set up the Treo 500V for Optus Internet & MMS. Got 2 new Treo 500v for Christmas. My provider is Optus Australia. The setup menu on the 500v is customised for Vodafone. Have received no help from Optus, Vodafone or Palm. Anyone help?

welcome chris to treonauts. I am not sure of any setings for optus and there are not many here that have a 500v tazuk should be able to hopefully help as he does have a 500 but primarily uses the 750. Have you tried a web search or google for the optus setings by chance?

I have tried a web search. Also been in contact with Optus 3 times, plus vodafone & Palm. Now have it almost set up, except I keep getting askd for a password and domain when doing MMS & Internet.

Hi I am having exactly the same problem however you seem to have gotten further with it than me. My hubby bought me the Treo 500v for chrissy and I am with optus. I can't find the gprs settings for optus for this phone anywhere. I have also contacted Optus and am trying to contact Palm (however that seems to have been a no go for you.) Can you tell me what you have done so far and if you solved the problem?
