    | Well other than the Centro, there is no newer Palm OS Treo. There have been NO rumors of such a device other than the completely false Centro 2 rumors a few days ago. Tell them to order you a 755p, or a Centro. I think you'll be glad you did. |

| VZW is probably getting the 800w that is currently available on Sprint, but it's Windows Mobile, not Palm OS. No one expects any new Palm OS devices to come out at all. All the talk points to new devices in the Spring of 2009 when Palm releases Nova (the long-awaited new Palm OS). Right now, the Centro is the only current Palm OS device since the 755p & 680 have been essentially discontinued.

| Hmm, good catch Blank. I was just stating based on the previous shortage of Sprint 755p's, which everyone was worried meant that it had been discontinued. |

| Verizon Personnel Saying 755p discontinued, so get Centro? I followed up my call to Verizon with a visit to a local store. After the Verizon staff told me it was discontinued, I wanted to see what the local store staff knew. They also said it had been discontinued. They are out of stock, and have been for some time. They also said they knew of nothing new coming, and pushed me to get the Centro. So, now I have to ask, should I get a Centro? It seems like a step backwards from the 700p. I need the Palm OS for my software so choices are limited. Thanks for the advice! |

| VZW Treo 755p phones on the Market... Amazon for $215 eBay from $270 You can get whichever phone you want. If the extra $100 is not of real concern then the choice is based mainly on the form factor and the small differences, which is personal preference. I only spent about 5 minutes looking for the 755p, I would think with some research you could find cheaper prices, even on eBay.

| I'm a little surprised they discontinued it that quickly. I guess that's Verizon for you. For what it's worth, there isn't much difference between the 755p and the Centro. Slightly smaller screen, and smaller keyboard, but the OS is the same. |

| Our company uses a number of 700WX with Verizon. Many of them are getting older, and neede replacement. As far as my rep know, neither the 800W or Treo Pro will be offered. Anyone know if Verizon plans on supporting WIndows mobile with either a new Treo, or another Windows Mobile device with a full keyboard? Thank you |

| According to Engadget Mobile, the HTC Touch Pro is supposed to be coming soon, along with some other Windows Mobile devices. So you should have something to move to soon.
