4G technology is already out from my understanding. If an area or country doesn't currently support 3G, I agree it would be pointless to start by rolling out 3G infrastructure. Then again, I don't know how interchangable the infrastructure is between the two (as I don't think anyone has a 4G phone out yet). I'm not a geek, so I don't know these things.

4G is in testing phases in japan and with a single provider in EU . 3G is a requirement for a 4G based network support . Russia and wireless providers is like sticking a cossie engine in a civic . Excuse my rather crude comparison.

I'm anything but a geek . Pocket protectors , what are those ?
