| A Few Questions.... ![]() | It seems that VZW continues to live in the dark ages when it comes to the TREO. I love VZW for the service area but being a TREO lover I am actually thinking about leaving VZW to go to SPRINT just so I can get the better phones. Why isn't VZW getting any of the new TREOs?? They are still selling the huge attena on the 700p. Sprint got the 755p and now the Centro - what's up with that??? My other option - I know ugggg - is to stay with VZW and become a Blackberry User - my biggest problem is the touchscreen which I love and that I have been a palm OS User since the beginning of time. Could anyone shine any light on my situation??? |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I wouldn't be surprised if we see the 755p on Verizon in the next few weeks. It's been exclusive to Sprint for about 5 months now I believe, so assuming a 6 month exclusivity deal. Of course Verizon could be unwilling to take on new Treos. Who knows... It's all rumors and hearsay.

![]() | Never trust Sprint!!!! One user overpaid his bill (he got a reminder while the check was in the mail for the earlier bill and just paid it) and now he has to sue Sprint to get a refund after being with them for 5 years!!! We just left Sprint and Verizon for AT&T. For us we got better coverage, contemporary (not last year's) handhelds and better pricing. The better coverage was really the key. In the northeast, west coast, carribean, asia and europe, these 680's worked flawlessly with no hassle. Haven't gone south outside of the major cities, so don't know about down there. I would also not switch to the Centro unless (perhaps) I was still using a 650 (I loved my 650 except for the miniscule memory). Why switch for the same thing in an only slightly smaller package that looks cheap and has taken battery life from frigging awful to practically useless! I'm currently still devoted to the Treo, but Palm's lack of innovation makes me dream about cheating with a Blackberry! |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Speaking of the Centro, I just saw this on my Sprint Page. "Octobert 14th is the launch date. $99 with a $100 mail in rebate Requires New Activation and a $25 Data Plan or Higher." Or you can go to Sprint.com and see for yourself. Personaly, I hate mail in rebates. I always forget that I sent it in and I never get a check anyway. $25 data plan? That is kind of an expensive plan. You are only getting a few more channels on Sprint TV compared to the $20 plan, which is what I have. New Activation? What about if your renew your plan for 2 years? I wanted to get two phones, but I will wait. Yes, $99 is a nice price, but I couldn't afford two $25 data plans (One for my wife and One for my daughter). My 2 cents. (Can anybody find or make an avatar of 2 pennies?) lol |
