So folks, looks like some wishes are going to come true. Engadget is reporting that the 755p will be coming to Verizon, as well as a new Treo.

Taz, I hope that new treo is the Linux one. And I hope att/cingular gets it's hands on one at the same time..

Possible but unlikely unless they're co-developing the GSM and CDMA versions.

Only time will tell! I should be up for an upgrade in November. Hopefully the new "product" is out by then. I will give it a couple of months to be tested by users and then make a decision to keep my 700 or upgrade.

Here is the link. They even show a "sketchy" picture of the new phone. I guess they call it the "Hollywood". Hmmmm...., pic does look hinky, but who knows.

Looks like Verizon might be getting the 755 on July 4th. Also, looks like Verizon is getting the 800w 9/13. Read below for some hints and info.

That looks awful, I hope on this occasion it is a hoax

The 800W is most likely a CMDA Treo 750 with a 320 x 320 screen and Windows Mobile 6.0, if indeed there is such a beast
