![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | When talking about equivalents its hard not to group the 680 and 750 together. They are both the next step in both form and function from their preceding devices. While the step taken by Palm with their (or rather Access's) OS may not be what many are looking for, it's a step none the less. Both devices are very powerful, and can be used by both the regular consumer and the business user alike. It's personal preference and thats it. As for your question, like Kimmy said, none we know of aside from the potential rumored Jeff Hawkins project, and that likely isn't even a Treo. This place is a good source of new information (and debate) and is worth keeping up on.

| A Few Questions.... ![]() | loosen up the pocket protector... I think the little 'Jedi' is attacking me now, no? I got this sweet 'private' message... Why private? I thought everyone should see it: Quote:
Corvette boy saw that since I only had 1 post meant I have no experience in this forum, Treo's, Palm's, etc... which is not the case. I am well versed in all of the above and have read these forums many times. I have relied on Treonauts and Andrews expertise for TREO news and thought if I posted a question on his forum I would get honest and real info [which some of you have offered and to which I am greatful] like his site offers... unfortunately that was not the case. My little trekky friend here wanted to puff his chest and show this 'newbie' how much he knew and impress me with his 680 is = to the 750 non-sense. Don't jerk me around man. I think Andrew should take better care to choose his moderators more wisely as they are a poor reflection on him. Once I called vette boy out on his BS his pocket protector got all tangled up in a knot. Well too bad brother. Get the posters of the Corvettes off the walls, get out of your parents basement, get some fresh air and off this and the MANY other forums you are reading and moderating and get your self some trim... get laid man. No one cares how many posts you have or that you are a moderator... I was not impressed and I am sure no one is... I am sure this happens to you at least twice a week. Get your mouth off the vette tail pipes [I am sure you don't drive one] and get a life... stop dreaming of treo's. I do appreciate the honest and intelligent offerings on the future of the Treo's... I will bow out of your space now... I am sure my Jedi friend will be upset. Yall be cool, right on! | |

![]() ![]() | niknud thats quite a stream you're firing off there. Sorry you didn't get the answer you were specifically looking for but reading through the thread again I didn't see anything which could have totally set you off with that ferocity like you have. Granted the PM might have been a little harsh but then so were some of your comments. Levelling some of your criticisms against people for their choice of avatar, name or anything else isn't really fair. I think brandon was just saying the 680 (regardless of OS) was the equivalent of the 750 form factor rather than deliberately trying to mislead someone he thought was a newbie with little or no knowledge of the Treo and it's ecosystem. If you take exception to the way you were treated after your initial exchange it's worth considering not just what brandon wrote but what you wrote that may have initiated that. I'm not saying anyone was right or wrong but it seems to me that you may have decided you were being treated as a newbie when infact you weren't and that this has coloured your view the replies to your post. ~ Steph
