Is a T-Mo branded Treo 750 possible in the near future?

I'd hate to switch and the Cingular plans really aren't that appealing.....

It's certainly possible and Palm have been trying to sign up new carriers but I haven't heard anything to say T-Mobile will be joining them.

tmobile will have treos again by the end of this year

tmobile rep when i was trouble shooting my 750... they said wow, u couldnt wait till the end of the year? were gonna have the treos again...

T-Mobile has been burnt a few times by Handspring, and then PalmOne and Palm. Voicestream originally carried the VisorPhone, and later the 270, the following to 600. The VisorPhone worked well (still works well, when I need). The 270- Still under the name of Handspring- was the promising successor to the VisorPhone, but had a major flaw with the radio, it would get locked on, when a signal was lost. (I found this out the hard way) There was never a full ROM upgrade that addressed it; there were only "patches" issued and eventually was upgraded away. The next go-around was with the 600, and had it's own share of initial-release problems.

Aside from that, the crackberrys were initially more of an international setup. I don't need to get into that in detail. Treos are all quad band now, etc and I feel that they have a lot more options, etc.

Don't get me wrong, I love my 680 on T-Mobile. Very close to flawless if I keep the crappy third-party software off.
