GSM Pixi in Europe-when?

I am a Centro user who was flirting with the Pre but much more interested in the Pixi now! I love the form of the Centro and the Pixi looks great in the reviews, WiFi no issue for me and I dislike sliders.

Any idea how long until a GSM Pixi available in Europe-either contract or sim free? months or year?

Thanks

O2 is probably the first European carrier that will offer the Pixi

I'm fairly certain that the only carrier that uses an odd 3G frequency is T-Mobile USA.

after reading richc's review I am thinking abid pass for me on the pixi. With my concerns about the slider format and the keyboard on the pre maybe thats a no go as well. I played with a friend's droid and it loks and feels nice but I dont like the slider format. He reports verizons call clarity and signal strength are good. But I cannot switch to VZN now at all. Maybe ATT will come out with an android device soon there are enough rumors about it maybe dell maybe motorola an NTC is not out of the question. I am thinking another palm is probaly not in the picture for the next phone. That makes me SAD!

Jfa you're worse then me with new phones. I've had my e71 for less than a year and I'd love to replace it with an Android, WM or WebOS device. I'm totally satisfied with the e71, but I just like new toys.

As my son would "What's your point"? or even better "So". I plead guilty.
