![]() | Sorry for such a newbie question, but I've searched the blog and couldn't find any current information. Is there any indication that Palm will be putting out an entry-level Treo for non-business users? My husband and I want to consolidate our Palms and cell phones, but we don't need all the bells and whistles. We'll pay for them and use them if the 750P is the only GSM Palm phone to be released for the foreseeable future, but I guess I'm wondering if the speculation I've read about Lowrider was just hype and rumour. Thanks! jc |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | At this point you need to choose which cellular service provider your going to use. Palm has/is released/releasing a few new models this year on different providers. If your looking into getting a 750p when they come out (like me!) then you'll need to go with Cingular/Vodafone. If you want a 700p/w, Verizon is for you. OR if you want a 700p or the new 700wx, you could choose to go with Sprint. So you really need to pick out which type of service you want, then the service provider. They're not really "entry models", but Palm seems to be trying to appeal to the regular pda user who would like to merge their devices, as well as the "on the go" powerusers. Who knows though, they could pull something else out of their sleeve! |

![]() | Thanks forgot. We already have Cingular and are happy with the plan, so the choice is between the 650 or the 750 unless there's something else on the horizon. PS - love the avatar. cute kid! did you mod the toy car or did it come like that? |

![]() | I'd go with the 680, if you want a Treo and don't want too much glitter.
