Gmail - am I doing it the best way...

OK...it's me again! Figured I'd ask another question. I'm using gmail through versalink, and found that if I read an email on my computer first, it doesn't download to my phone. What I did was have gmail forward a copy of every email to another gmail account, which I never access on-line. I set up my phone so that it sends from the original account, so it looks seamless, it's just a pain.

Is there a better way?

Thanks,
Matt

Matt,

From what I understand, you may have VersaMail set to download only unread messages. So, if you read a message on your computer, VersaMail will ignore it. You can check in VersaMail settings to see if you can change that.

Hmm...will ya look at that. Just glossed right over the whole "unread messages" option in versalink. Looks to work perfectly. Oh wait...it doesn't download messages I've already archived from the computer. Interesting... I'll play with both versions for a few days and see which one I'll pick.

Thanks!!
