Some issues migrating from Treo 650 to Centro - Treo Forum

I recently migrated from my venerable Treo 650 to Centro and I have been reasonably been satisfied.

There are 2 glitches I have:

1. On my Treo 650 I used after a bit of trial and error Plantronics Discovery 610 as my default bluetooth headset and it worked fine. For whatever reasons it is not working very well on Centro and when it works it is in fits and starts - some incoming calls gets accepted on the bluetooth and no outgoing calls on the bluetooth headset. Am I missing anything?

2. I used Takephone as my default phone utility in Treo and I re-installed it on Centro. While it is working as a standalone phone utility it is not the default. The defaul phone utility on Centro is an improvement on Treo 650 but Takephone is far better with more bells and whistles. How do go to Takephone whenever I press the phone button?

Are you using the latest version of Takephone, which I believe is v7.55?

Hi

I am using TakePhone 7.55. I did get a fix of using the Preferences option and then using phone button option. It did work but phone was hanging - I suspect a clash between TakePhone utility and Centro's built in phone utility. So I have now reverted to Centro's phone utility
