![]() | Vibrating alert when I'm on the phone Hello all, first post here and just wanted to say that I've been reading this site for a while before I got my Palm Centro. I've had it for about a few weeks now and I love it. Still learning new things about it and hopefully you guys can help me out with this question. I have my text message alerts set to a specific tone whenever I get a message as well as always vibrating. The problem I have with this is whenever I'm talking on the phone and I get a message the phone vibrates right on my ear and the person that is on the other end notices that my phone is vibrating bc they can hear it. The only other setting I saw for vibrating is to set it when the phone is silented. I want to keep the alert to always audible and always vibrate, but is there any way I can turn off the vibrating when I'm on the phone? Thanks. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Welcome to Treonauts, Charles!!!!!!!!! I don't know of any way to do it without a third party app. And off hand, I can't think of any of those that will do it (you might take a look at SMS Pager). I have UltimatePhone, but I don't see a way to control SMS tones while on a call. You might also check out TakePhone or Lightwav. Hopefully, someone else will have a more difinitive answer. |

![]() | You could try a profile manager such as Profiles, Profeo, I think Butler has profiles etc. If they don't have a trigger for when you are on the phone, they should have a quick switch function that will let you switch to a profile that doesn't vibrate and then switch back quickly when you are off the phone. |
