![]() | Can't send mail through Xpress Mail I've had the Centro for a month. Today was the last day of my 30-day buyer's remorse period, and after much thought and research, I decided to keep it. Half an hour after my local AT&T store closed, I tried to send emails through using Xpress mail, and was unable to do so. No explanation was given - just a message that the emails were not sent. I was able to send emails out before, and I am still able to receive mail. A soft reset did not help. Any suggestions? |

![]() | Looks like the emails went through after midnight last night. Do I need to adjust settings somewhere so that the emails are sent immediately rather than later (if so, I can't seem to figure out where/how to do that). ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Dettem, I think the problem you're having in getting responses is that the Centro is new to AT&T and x-press mail is not used in the Sprint version. Sorry we can't help you out. I don't think any of us know enough to answer intelligently...not that that has stopped some of us before from asking. Stu |

![]() | No problem. Xpress mail was working fine this morning, but this evening, I find that I am unable to send out mail again. I'm on hold with AT&T. If I get any answers, I'll post it here. |

![]() | So the AT&T rep suggested that I delete Xpress Mail (she found it to be inconsistent) and use what she called device-based email. I deleted Xpress mail, and she walked me through the following steps. Pick Email Icon (will launch a page with Versamail on top left corner) Press Menu button Pick Accounts Click New Enter email address and password Choose Done Wait a few minutes, then Choose Get to get your emails The rep immediately sent me a test email, and I was able to reply. So far, so good. I hope this information helps others out there. When I pick the Email icon, it now takes me to my email screen with AOL printed on the upper left corner. Seems like I have a direct connection, rather than going through Xpress Mail or Versamail. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | dettem, you're using Versamail, it's just configured to use your AOL account so that's what it shows at the top of the screen. Glad you had good a good experience with an at&t rep.
