   | Keyboard Light Too Dim? Hey, has anyone had a problem with the Centro keyboard lighting being too dim? I read a Centro review on a site, and the pictures show the lit keyboard as a really bright white. On my Sprint Centro, the keyboard stays a really dim white--almost shows as a yellow tint it's so dim--and does not change in intensity, regardless of the brightness of the main display. Is this normal? Any workarounds?

 | There is an app called BrightCam that uses the level of ambient light seen through your camera to control the intensity of light of your keyboard. In other words if it is bright out, your keyboard lights will be dim and visa versa. I've never used the app, but it might help. |

| No screen protector. Either way, the issue isn't the screen, it's the keyboard.

| in my centro the keyboard never work, when i go to dial in places that the light is poor we have to go to pref. and set the power option to maximum. and then we can use the light of the keyboard. | So are you saying the keyboard (not the screen) gets brighter or dimmer based on the light setting? Or does it stay constant?

| Impaler, Not sure if you were referring to my post, but I was talking about the keyboard. Only possible issue is that I'm not sure if BrightCam is Centro compatible. Check it out and see. |
