![]() | USB Mass storage or "drive mode" or other way I can attach my Centro to my PC Hi. Subject says most of it. How can I attach my Centro to my computer as if it were a thumb drive? I know the TX and LifeDrive had "drive mode". Is there any way to install "drive mode" on the centro? Thanks! |

![]() ![]() | I've not used them myself, but these two applications will allow you to use your device like a card reader & they should have free trials available for download: Card Reader v1.07 Softick Card Export II |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I use Card Reader and find it to be invaluable at times. Since I'm a 755p user it enables me to copy music and videos to the card much faster. It also has helped me to find "lost" applications and files that were misfiled. Furthermore, with using Vista, there has been a couple times where the Vista system automatically corrected some corruption in the files or startup application for the card, all while using Card Reader. ::::stepping down off marketing soapbox and wondering why he doesn't get a commission::::::::::::: |

![]() ![]() | I would also recommend Softicks' Card Export II, IF you're system will recognize the Treo via USB. I notices your Linux OS, so you might want to download the Trial version and test it out.

![]() | Thanks Thanks, all. I should have mentioned: I have tried both the Card Reader and Card Export products. Neither does what I want! They both assume that you are using a removable card, and basically turn your phone into an expensive card reader. I want something -- and I think the built in "Drive Mode" on the LifeDrive does it -- that turns my phone into attached USB storage without a removable card. Thanks! |

![]() ![]() ![]() | The problem you'll run into there is the limited amount of memory on the device itself. Otherwise, if your writing to the card, it IS an expensive card reader. That said, an extreamly useful card reader. If you really feel you must move the files into the device memory, there is a program out there that will partition your Treo's internal memory. The card reader program should then see it and you should be able to write to it. If I can find it again later I'll post a link, other wise....Google is your friend.

![]() | Well, maybe I should be more general in my question. I really just want to get all my pictures off. How do I get my pictures off the Centro? Thanks! |
