![]() | Centro file transfer Quote:
btw Ptunes allows storage transfer TO it..haven't been able to get Ptunes data connection to work both ways, Mvoice 5.5.6 allows data to and from the Treo/Cento via it's data connection menu choice. I've used all three, and I find that reading/writing data to the palm is still(USB 1.0?) lots slower to and from a palm's SD card than it is pulling it out(pain on the Centro) and plopping it in a USB 2.0 card reader...anyone else found this? ![]() | Thanks again, all. I don't have amicrosd card. I want to be able to do this without having to buy a card. I mean, I find it actually pretty irritating when devices that SHOULD have this functionality don't. (This isn't the first device like this that I've had this problem with) Anyway, thanks. I'll figure something out. If I do, I'll post it here. later... |

![]() ![]() | I hear you too... it's silly you can't see it as a drive, my guess is that Palm didn't want people messing about within the inbuilt storage. Did a bit of searching and, like you, couldn't find a decent how-to's just a bunch of questions. It's s shame really that palm didn't include something in the Palm Desktop that lets you browse/manipulate 'safe' directories like the camera pics... If you can get a micro-sd, it would be worth it. Honestly. I did a search to find some cheap prices including shipping and think I did pretty well. Meritline has a 1GB microSD card for $8.95 including shipping. Or there's a Kingston one include a card reader for $10.99 including shipping. I'd quote our store but frankly the prices are a bit high. So for the price of a beer or two you can solve your problem even though it really shouldn't be a problem in the first place. An other route you could go, if you have a data plan is to FTP them off you phone using the free vfs ftp (fully functional demo): ninelocks ~ Steph
