![]() | Greetings and welcome. ![]() I just downloaded and installed the trial version to try and assist. It seemed to work fine. Once I finished sync'n the app installed itself and opened right up after I disconnected my USB cable. It then took me through the 8 page tutorial. After that I was in the app. If I press phone while in the app it'll take me to the standard phone app where I can see the screen keypad. If I'm in any other app (calendar, task list, memo, etc) and press the phone button, it'll take me directly into UltimatePhone (UP). As a matter of fact, if I'm in UP and press phone, it'll take me to the default. If I press it again, it'll take me back into UP. I looked to see if we could reassign the phone button (under Preferences/Buttons) but we cannot. Press it (phone) again and see what happens. Optimus Centro out.

![]() | Once you get into UP, edit the settings. The General menu has two options that should be checked:

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Welcome to Treonauts, Girlie! Optimus is making a name for himself. LOL Good to see such energy. I use UltimatePhone and love its many features and polished look. As Optimus described you should be able to go back and forth between UP and the stock phone app. I changed my preferences to allow nine boxes. I keep a contacts icon in the first box (there are several freebie ones to pick from that are all good, but offer different things: Treobble, 2Cool4U, and Touchbook). Treobble is the fastest of the three, but not the slickest or the one with the most functions. Anyway, by having that in the first icon slot, it allows me to just touch it and scroll quickly to whomever I wish to call. I then have family and friends in the next five slots. Finally for the last three slots I have my preference panel (in case I want to turn bluetooth on), googlemaps, in case I need to find directions, and TryDA, to assist with finding a business or personal number. Also, UP has a great setup for web 2.0 sites. Just hit web and then click on any of those icons that show up, OR add your own. Have fun with it! |

![]() | I need your help I just downloaded UltimatePhone & it's pretty sweet. The only problem that I have is my contacts are within keysuites' KeyContacts. I can't seem to link any of my contacts from keysuite to UP contact list... any suggestions? Also (sorry if i'm being so needy ) i finally got a data plan on my phone and the SMS now changed to messaging and I am also having problem locating my KeyContacts. I don't want to uninstall keysuite just for UP and messaging so any help would be greatly appreciated! BY THE WAY... TREO RULES! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Welcome to Treonauts, Johndyz!!! I don't know anything about KeySuite. Does it use the stock Contacts database for contacts or does it create its own? If it uses the stock database, then you should be able to access it with UP. Other than that, I'm not sure what to tell you. Maybe you can Hotsync you KeySuite contacts to your PC and then move them to your Palm Desktop Contacts list so that they show up in the stock contacts database after the next hotsync. Then you'll be able to use them with UP no problem. P.S. I miss Optimus Centro and OhHappyDaye...if anyone sees them, tell them to come back. |
