![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | That's a question someone more seasoned in the Palm OS world would have to answer. I've been using my 750 for almost a year now, and have forgotten most of the Palm OS stuff I knew.

![]() | I have seen in other posts that to use minitones the music file has to be on the external card and not in internal memory. So if you haven't save them there, I would try that. Also, I believe minitones only supports mp3? so WMA, etc might not work |

![]() | Here's a neat little trick I learned when I first got my Centro.... ....if you browse to a website that has a music file and click on it to download, the Centro will give you a few options; one of which is to copy as a ringtone. So if you have access to a website or know someone who does that can temporarily host some files for you, it can be done really simple. That's how I did my ringtones. Shoot me a PM if you want to go that route and cannot find someone to host the files for you. DISCLAIMER: You must have a data plan. Optimus Centro out.

![]() | Try using Audacity Here's what I did. Download Audacity (Type "audacity" into Google). It's free and open source. Set it to record "Stereo Mix." This means it'll record whatever plays through your speakers. Play any sound file(or song) you have and record it. Edit it, then export it as an .mp3. Then email it to yourself. I use Gmail. When I download the attached file, one of the options is "Copy to ringtone." Then, choose it in the ringtone list. Gives you files of ~500kb for 30 seconds. But, it's free and, I thought, easier to do on my desktop |
