Does centro have 1 key dial like Treo 650

I just upgraded from Treo 650 to Centro. I can't find the way to specify 1 button/key dial like I used to have. This would be annoying if this feature no longer there. Do I have to rely on voice dial now ?

Yes, you can set up speed dial, so that your favorite numbers are pre-set to certain keys. To set up quick keys, go into phone apps, hit the menu key, go all the way over to the right and scroll down to Tips and it should tell you how to set it up.

This is a great feature. Not only do I have speed dial for my frequently dialed number, I have it for my frequenly used apps.

S - Sudoku
M - Memo
P - Password Security

You can setup so many easily accessed items on the Favorites Buttons. I'm loving it.

I am new to my Centro (just upgraded from a 650) so bear with me. I have not been able to figure out how to setup 1-touch dialing or quick lauch buttons for programs. I used both of these options extensively on my 650 and it is frustrating not having them now.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Follow this link to the user manual (PDF document) --> link

Start on page 75 of the document (which is page 85 of 408 in Adobe) and read about defining favorite buttons. Post up your success.

Optimus, thanks for the information. I thought there must be a full manual for the centro besides the "quick guide" that came with the phone. This will come in handy.

No problem.

I needed it a few times myself (and still do).
