TomTom 6 on Centro - Treo Forum

Anybody know if TomTom 6 runs on the Centro, or if there's a patch from Palm for it yet?

I'm thinking of getting my teenage son a Centro and I was going to give him my TomTom kit that I've been running on my 755.

OK I'm replying to my own post, a bit odd perhaps. I was just over at the Palm site and they've switched to a Garmin system for Centro. Bart Simpson is right, this both sucks and blows at the same time...often considered impossible.

So thanks Palm for abandoning all of us TomTom 6 users. I'll put my system on eBay I guess.

BTW I like TomTom enough to buy the TomTom Go 720 which is really solid. I've been listening to "The Moon is a Harsh Mistress" on the media player, one of my all time favorite Sci-Fi books.

I can't see any reason why TomTom Navigator 6.0 wouldn't run on the Centro but we won't know for definite until someone tries it. If you're defintely getting the Centro then maybe give it a bash

i GOT THE MOBILE XT GARMIN DIRECTLY FROM PALM. IT WORKS PERFECTLY.
