From Treo 650 to Centro

I just upgraded from the Treo 650 to the Centro and so far I really like it! The only complaints I would have is the battery life and it seems kind of awkward to get to the sdcard.

I have a question about the screen... Would it be advisable to still use screen protectors even though the screen is supposedly scatch-proof? Would screen protectors diminish the clear, sharp view on the screen?

They might would a little. As far as a recommendation on using them, its really up to you. Some people swear by them, and won't go without them. I personally don't use them. I don't like the spongy feel they give the screen, and I've only ever scratched one screen on my many devices.

I came from a 650 too and I am delighted with the Centro!

I haven't noticed a big drain on the battery but I read somewhere that the recharge time is much shorter. I purchased a new car charger (the 650 was too loose).

I have been pondering the idea of a screen protector, just because of the lovely lint it likes to gather in the corners.

I NEVER take the micro card out. -LOL, it's just too much of a pain. I use it for Centro storage only. The external card door is a joke, I still have to open the back case to get at the card.

I use "Soft reset" to restart my Centro if something goes nuts, unless it freezes, then there is no choice but to remove the door and battery.
