| A Few Questions.... ![]() | Hey friends I'm looking for a little help! Okay, so I got this new phone, the Palm Centro and It's really really cool I must say. There is a little problem I'm having though. I have many things saved on the sim card of my old cingular phone that I don't want to lose. Is there any way to possibly transfer that information onto my Palm? |

![]() ![]() | welcome to treonauts vagabond1. What kind of phonedid you have from cingularly att? You may be able to transfer the information to your desktop to the palm desktop program where it could be hot synched to the centro. Youwould probably need to look at the owners manual for your old phone as a starting place. I am only guessing. The last time I had a regular cingularly att phone was before I got my treo 600 and thats been about 3.5 years ago. It was a Nokia 3360 I think. It did not have a sim card. Hopefully someone else might have more information. I will check in the treo 600 and 650 forums here at treonauts and see if I can come up with anything. Please answer back and we'll try to help. |

| A Few Questions.... ![]() | Hey guys thanks for the warm welcome!! I really don't know what kind of phone it is to be honest. I'm not really good with the whole technology thing! It's a samsung I know that though I doubt that's any help. It's also quite old. Basically the things I'm looking to transfer are the hundreds of numbers and some pictures I have on it. I know I can take care of the numbers with no problem but it's such a tedious process I'd rather not have to deal with it ya know? I went to the Sprint store earlier actually and they said they couldn't do it there but there might be a way I could do it. They didn't know any more than that. Sorry about the lack of info I have I know it's going to be hard to help out without me knowing more about my old phone but any ideas I could possibly get would be greatly appreciated! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Is the phone still activated? If so, at least the pictures could be MMS messaged over. If you can find the model I can look for a device that may be able to transfer the numbers.

![]() ![]() | Welcome to treonauts . Try taking the battery out of the old phone, there might be an information tag pasted to the underneath side with model number etc. |

![]() | You might try taking your SD card with a USB adapter and put the information on your computer. You can then take the micrSD card and adapter and plug it into your computer.....copy the info directly to the microSD and then just put the card in your new Centro! Hope this helps |
