Looking for a better stylus... - Treo Forum

Hey everyone!

Love my Centro, hate the cheap plastic stylus. I did some searching and couldn't find any replacement stylus. Is it just too early to be looking for replacements?

I'm not sure if there is a 3rd party stylus available yet.

I hear you. I went to play with the Centro and actually asked the Sprint Dude if the "display" model had this cheap stylus. He said, "nope, that is the original".

Give it time, some one will come up with a replacement.

I don't like the standard 750 stylus either. It's so much lighter than the one that came with the 650.

That said, the price and expected popularity(I've seen TV ads) for the Centro will certainly bring 3rd party styli soon.

If you dont like the original stylus ry one of the stylus ball pen styli for the 680 and 750 they are a little heavier and you get a spare pen for when you need it I used them a lot with the 650 and now the 750. Handy!

Thanks, I am looking for a sturdier stylus too!

Thats my plan, I'm hoping they release a similar one for the Centro though.

I know what you're all saying. I just got my Centro yesterday and I love it. It's so great and in my apartment, where I've gotten no reception since I moved in with my 700P (underground basement apartment), I get perfect reception now. Then I went to remove the stylus and thought for a second I was tripping. Unfortunately, no. It's just a craptastic piece of junk. I'll be keeping an eye out for a better one for sure.
