Centro flashed to Metro Help - Treo Forum

Hey guys im completely new to flashing phones and alrdy have my Palm Centro flashed to Metro PCS I was told I could also get the Internet working on it but the guy wanted another 70 bucks to do it. I don't have the means to pay that at the moment. I was wondering if maybe you guys can give me a helping hand, I really would appreciate it

Not sure what he flashed your Centro with, but Blazer, which is an internet launching application, comes standard on the Palm Centro. Of course, it is a mobile app, and therefore does not render all web pages in an optimized fashion, but it functions fairly well.

Well I dont know what he used either but I can only call and send/receive text msgs. What do I need to do to get the Internet working? I would really appreciate your help and sorry for my ignorance.

Look in your launcher (press the Home key) and see whether you have the app called "Web." If so, that is Blazer and should work. There are other mobile launchers, but Blazer is about the best for Palm OS. You could look at Opera Mini, but you'll need to download the java applet as well.
