A few questions about my Centro

1) Is there any way to make pictures private?

2) How can I make my XpressMail alert an audible tone? Right now is just vibrates and I never know when I get an e-mail.

3) Is anyone else having connectivity issues with the bluetooth? Mine will just disconnect in the middle of a call from time to time. Then I have to go through the whole process of disabling/enabling the bluetooth, set-up, and re-entering the bluetooth password. That used to work. Currently, I cannot get the headset to work at all. I am headed to AT&T right now to test the bluetooth with other phones.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

First of all welcome to treonauts. We are glad you have joined us. As far as making pictures private I am not sure what you mean by that pictures would only go out over the web if you send them as an email attachment or message. As far as express mail audible I would think if you can do what you are wanting you need to find a seting in preferences. Check in your user guide on the cd or at Palm USA - Mobile Products for Consumers, Professionals, and Businesses in the pdf file. As far as bluetoth connectivity it has been an issue in the treos for some time its geting better but it can be hit and miss.

Thanks for the welcome.

Occasionally, people go through my phone. I have some photos that I don't want anyone to see or accidentally find. I know I can make some records password protected. Can I do that with photos or photo albums?

Also....FYI. I went to the AT&T store to have them replace my Plantronics bluetooth. The new one doesn't work either. The only thing it could be now is a problem with the phone. The told me I could get a warranty replacement. This makes me mad because I bought a NEW phone! They are gonna give me a refurb. I'm the type of person that NEVER buys used. So why after 3 months should I get a refurb when I paid for a new?

Ugh!

Take a look at Resco ID Guard. It will encrypt all sorts of things, including photos and you'll need a password to see them. As for the bluetooth, my guess it is a limitation of the phone, not the bluetooth and a replacement is not going to work much better. I've heard people complain about not being able to use other BT devices as well. Be sure to check out Palm's website for compatibility and I would advise checking your phone with some other BT devices to see if any work. If not, then it probably is just your phone. Best wishes!
