Same, ive recently tried using the hotsync cable, and ive noticed about an hours difference (slower) when using it. x86 XPSP3 USB2.0

Okay, let's say that the USB cable is slower...its still not as slow as the old true "trickle charge."

Agreed. Trickle charging would take about 4 hours to fully charge a battery via USB from, say, 25%. I tried the Centro connected to a PC with its USB cable, and it took about an hour and fifteen minutes to charge from nearly-dead.

I have BlackBerries issued to me for work. It takes forever to charge their batteries.

Anybody know the voltage and ampere specs to charge the Palm Centro? I can't seem to get car charging to work with a charging adapter.

what adapter are you using. With my 60 and 650 I used an oem car charger with the 750 and treo pro I use either a usb car charger body with a sync n charge retractable cable or a motorola microusb car charger I tried the car chager body usb thing with the pro but it did not work.
