![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Are you trying to sync with the Palm Desktop or Outlook? If the Palm Desktop, what version are you using?

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Stu, Correct me if I am wrong, but Palm Desktop won't work with 64 bit.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | There is no Palm desktop designed to work with 64 bit, but some have reported some limited ability to sync using the 4. series of desktop. I can't attest to it myself though.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The issue is not the method of syncing, but rather the lack of software to sync with on the 64 bit system. You might consider getting Resco Explorer or Resco Backup, which allow you to backup your device onto an FTP. That way you will have a safe backup. You can download apps OTA, but otherwise you're going to have difficulty. Search the threads over at TreoCentral. That is where I read that some who had 64 bit were having some limited success with the Palm Desktop 4.? Its been a while since I read it, but I do recall that the syncing was still very limited.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | No, it's not a matter of a problem with the Centro, it's that the sync software will almost defintely not work on 64 bit vista, so syncing via Bluetooth or cable is out. Many apps can be installed via SD card though. |

| I made my first post! ![]() | I have Vista Business x64 (had home premium but never used mediia center and needed domain support for my small business) and I sync just fine with Palm Desktop 6 using Bluetooth. Its REALLY slow but it works. The problem isn't with the software, its with the lack of 64bit drivers. I looked into writing an x64 driver but its alot more complicated and you have to have it digitally signed I believe. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Drivers are software. I am curious though what Palm Desktop version you are using to sync via BT?

![]() | I'm having the same problem. Eventually I gave up and just started doing all my syncing with my Linux box. I'm much happier with that anyway. The only thing I'm lacking is the ability to run an executable that installs software onto the Centro. |
