Software proposal: A REAL "phone lock" - Treo Forum

Ever have that person that you KNOW you just shouldn't call, but you can't help yourself? The girl you call when you're drunk, the boss you call to be a jerk to when you're drunk, pretty much everybody you call when you're drunk/lonely/on medication?

How about a program that'll lock out a particular number from being called and/or texted/IM'd for a preset amount of time? Before you go out for the night, you lock them out of your Treo so you can't get yourself into trouble.

Feel free to develop from that idea: I have no skills whatsoever. Heck, I'll even pay for it, but if you feel like being nice to the guy who gave you the idea...

Interesting idea

There are call baring programs out there but they're designed to block people calling you and not other way around.

Hmmm, it is a pretty cool idea. Probably be better to develop it for Razr's though, since everyone and their great grandma has that phone.

Google offers a "Drunk" filter for GMail called Mail Goggles. It's a little math quiz... Amusing, but I think I could pull it off even if pretty much in the bag.
