![]() | APT 1.3b1 is out New beta of Apt is out, for those of you with the full version. If you haven't tried this out take a look at it. It is a little more advanced than some programs for your Palm device, but it does some really neat stuff. It will probably take you a couple hours to figure out how to do some of the more advanced settings. There are a bunch of examples on the WIKI to get you started. Apt for PalmOS You can assign your hardkeys on a per app basis. (You can have each hard key do up to 4 different things, depending on how long you hold it down) You can write macro's to replace multiple button presses. You can control device settings on a per app or system wide basis. You can set time based events. These are just a few of the things you can do! Try the lite version its free but limited. If you have something specific you want to do, post on the WIKI and someone will try to help you out. Apt for PalmOS: Forum Category General Discussion Don |

![]() | Here is a quick setting for turning your screen to full brightness, than after a set idle time it will return it to the original. I used the side key to do this it works sweet!! *Default* Buttons Side/Brgt/Set/255 = Sets the screen to full brightness &/Apt/Call/1 = Calls Tag 1 Events 60/Idle/Brgt/Set/45 = Sets the Screen to 45 after 60 seconds of idle time &/Apt/Call/1 = Calls Tag 1 Then in the Tags screen *Tags* 1/Tag/Brgt/Copy = Copies the new setting to Default to keep it system wide. FYI: This works in 1.3b1 but the command name for "Copy" is different in earlier versions. You can do this with the light version give it a whirl. HTH, Don |

| A Few Questions.... ![]() | I would jump at buying this app... only if it didn't have activation and tied it to one device... I don't like relying on the developer if I have to switch devices... since Palm developers have gone under before leaving customers in the dark... |
