newbie to zlauncher need help? - Treo Forum

Hi,

I just read ove rthe manual and still lost.

How do you install a background photo from you sd card into zlauncher?

Also, how do you get the weather to show up on the today screen plugin?

Next, are there another plugins for zlauncher, other than clock and today?

Finally, can stock qoutes be seen in the today screen as well?

Backgrounds on ZLauncher are individually set for each tab.
Menu Tab -> Tab Properties...
Choose the "General" Tab
Click on the field next to "BackImage"
A list of all available pictures will show up. You'll just have to choose one.
Afterwards, if you want to use the same image on all the tabs, click the "CHGs > ALL" button.

In order for ZLauncher to recognize a picture file as a background, you need to store it in the SD card in the folder /PALM/Programs/ZLauncher/BackImage/ (otherwise ZLauncher won't see it).

Don't forget to install the JpegLib.prc file in main memory if you want ZL to be able to recognize JPEG files.

thanks for the help. Yeah.... I forgot to install the jeplib file that is where I had trouble. Thanks again for the help.

what does this program do and how much is it?

Someone with more tech skills will probably do a better job of explaining all the things it does; but it's worth it for me just to be able to move stuff back and forth between my SD cards and RAM.
