Hot sync ID? - Treo Forum

Hello out there. Can anyone tell me where to find my hotsync ID#. Kinda new to this. I have a treo 680. Thanks in advance.

On the hotsync application page on the treo it is the name in the top right ( or is it the left?) corner

Go to your Hotsync application in your device and look in the top right corner. You'll see it there.

Thanks for the reply, but There is nothing in my top right corner.In the top left it says hotsync thats about it.

Thats what everyone says, but the only thing there is Options. is it under about hot sync?

Is it the same for 680's and 650's. The hotsynch id#?

EVERYBODY SAYS LOOK IN TOP RIGHT CORNER, BUT THERE IS NOTHING THERE. IN TOP LEFT THERE ARE OPTION, BUT NOTHING SAYS HOTSYNC ID#. PLEASE HELP,CAN'T FIND HOTSYNC ID

I got this from the palm sight, maybe it will help.

"The HotSync ID is the name you have assigned to your Palm OS device. Software developers use this information to personalize your software registration key.

To locate your HotSync ID:

1. From your applications launcher, tap on the HotSync icon.
2. A new screen will open up, and the name on the upper right corner is your HotSync ID. The HotSync ID in this example is “Jane User.”

The HotSync ID is case, space and punctuation-sensitive, so please enter it exactly as it appears on your device. An incorrectly entered HotSync ID may cause delays in receiving your registration key."
