![]() | Help Synching one palm to another Hi, I have a palm 755p and a palm 680. One for work and one for personal use, each with different carriers. Someone has probably solved this but: How do I coordinate synching (only) contacts & calendar between them without a major juggling (aka cut & paste) act? I already tried using one ID for them both, but then this overlays 755p software on the 680 which causes some other applications on the 680 to not work. (i.e. voice recorder). Any help would be much appreciated! M ![]() |

| I made my first post! ![]() | I can't help you with this problem, but I'm trying to do exactly the same thing (except Treo 700p and 680). If you find an answer, I'd appreciate it if you post it in this thread. I will, of course, do the same if I find anything out. Thanks, -barry |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | You could use something like GooSync to sync the calendars. Contacts are a bit more tricky ![]()

![]() | Well, I have a temp work around which is to use the "import/export" feature of hot sync. eg. Hot sync the 755 to the desktop; export this list as a file; open the 680 userid then import the new 755 data file; next, use the 'delete duplicate' feature to get rid of duplicate information;finally, sync the 680. repeat twice: once for contacts, once for calendar. Talk about tedious! This works for large scale changes, because it's a pain in the neck. For small changes I just beam the new contact between machines... but there's GOT to be some software that takes care of this!! Anyone know of some good 3rd party synching software? Mike ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Like Taz said, Goosync works good for Calendar syncing. They are also working on a way to sync contacts as well.
