Games self-copying from card to desktop?

I'm having the strangest problem with my two game applications (Bejeweled and Webtrix) on my Treo 650. Both applications are stored on an expansion card so as not to clog up the phone. However, if I play a bunch of games in a row in either program, I find that the application for that game has mysteriously copied itself to the phone, meaning that the icon for it now appears on both the phone and on the card. The first time I noticed this with Webstrix, I checked that the game ran fine from the card (it did), and then deleted the version from the desktop. I even took the card out of the phone before deleting, so that there would be no confusion between the two copies. After this, when I tried to play the game again from the card, I found that it had reverted back to the trial version (forgotten the registration key). So I re-entered the registration key, and then the game worked properly again, although all of my high scores had been deleted. This was a few weeks ago. Now, I find that the icon for the game AGAIN appears on the phone as well as the card.

Does anyone know why this is happening and how to make it stop???
